His expertise spans Export Credit Finance (ECA), leasing structures, supplier credit arrangements, bank loans, and other tailored instruments designed to support complex investment needs.

With over 20 years of experience in government advisory, Volker has played a pivotal role in shaping energy transition finance and designing national programs for energy efficiency and renewable energy. His work has been commissioned by leading international institutions including GIZ Germany, KfW Germany, the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), the UK Climate Change Unit (UKCCU), and NIRAS, among others.

Volker has been deeply engaged in Indonesia’s financial and development landscape for more than 25 years, beginning with his leadership of Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Banking division in the late 1990s. His long-standing presence and cross-sectoral insight make him a trusted advisor for both public and private sector initiatives across the region.
